If your kid is watching the ball all the way into the pocket and it’s still popping out, the problem might not be their mechanics at all. Plastic-lined gloves, common at big box stores and marketed as beginner-friendly, can make it nearly impossible for young players to hold on to the ball, no matter how good their technique is.
